A New Chapter Begins: Rob Shaw Framing & Gallery’s Exciting Relocation to Historic Elmwood Park

Greetings, art enthusiasts! We're thrilled to announce that Rob Shaw Framing & Gallery is embarking on an exciting new journey. After creating a vibrant, creative hub in West Columbia, we are relocating to a new home at 2123 Park Street in the picturesque Elmwood Park area of Columbia, SC.

Since opening our doors in 2019, our gallery has been a sanctuary for art lovers and a spotlight for talented artists. As we transition to our new location, we're eager to infuse the same spirit into our new space, while offering even more to our community.

While our official grand opening is slated for April 1, 2024, we couldn't wait to share our excitement with you! To give you a sneak peek into what's in store, we're hosting two exclusive events before the big reveal:

  1. "The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang" - March 19 (12 pm - 8 pm) & March 20 (12 pm - 7 pm).
  2. Columbia Open Studios - March 23 & 24 (10 am - 6 pm each day).

"The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang" will offer an intimate look at the life of one of the most iconic music legends through the lens of May Pang. It's a unique opportunity to appreciate art and history intertwined.

Following this, we will be participating in Columbia Open Studios, a self-guided tour of local artists' working spaces

. Over both days, we will welcome art enthusiasts to explore, engage, and enjoy the creativity that fills our new location.

We're incredibly grateful for the love and support we've received from our community throughout our journey in West Columbia. As we prepare to open our doors in Elmwood Park, we hope to continue being a creative hub for art lovers and a platform for the talented artists in our community.

Stay tuned for more updates about our official opening on April 1st, 2024. We can't wait to welcome you to our new home!
